Brian Phillips is a 6th-grade teacher at Pine Elementary School in Holtville, California. He obtained his Master's degree in Educational Technology in 2006.

In his 24-year teaching career, Brian has taught the majority of his career in Self-Contained classrooms but has taught "Mass Media" at the high school level, and "Technology for Teachers" at San Diego State University.

In 2015, Brian traveled with the Transatlantic Outreach Program as a part of their 2 week STEM Study Tour throughout Germany

In 2017, he was recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator.
