Description
Over half of the degrees given out this year were to women, but less than half of those degrees were in STEM fields. How can educators, administrators and parents work together to decrease the gender gap in STEM fields and inspire the future Steminists?

Learning Outcome #1
Participants will walk away with strategies that can be implemented when they return to school to get more girls interested in STEM disciplines.

Learning Outcome #2
Participants will feel empowered to ask their administration if they can begin a program or try a strategy to get more girls involved in STEM.

Standards
ISTE Standards for Teachers 6- Educators facilitate learning with technology to support student achievement of the ISTE Standards for Students.
