DescriptionGoogle Slides has been a standard for multimedia presentations for students and teachers for several years. With the new and improved Google Slides, you can create interactive presentations with Slides that will add a new spark to presentations. Check out these Slides tricks and tips and share.
Learning Outcome #1Participants will be able to use specific features of Google Slides such as hyperlinked table of contents, addition of videos, use other Google Apps such as Sheets, images, links into Slides to support Science and Math presentations. Participants will learn ways to use one slide presentation per class with each student being responsible for a specific part of the presentation.
Learning Outcome #2Participants will be able to use Cropping, Masking, and Recolor tools to customize images for their (or their students) presentations. Participants will be able to use the custom setting in Background setting to create original backgrounds for presentations. Participants will also be able to use Slides with students to present choice options for student created products to demonstrate learning.
StandardsIntegration of Knowledge and Ideas CCSS ELA-literacy RST 6-8.7 Students will use Slides to integrate quantitative or technical information into a collaborative product assimilating ideas and information from one or more sources to demonstrate their learning based on the readings. Students will include graphs / charts as appropriate to the product.
