Description
Join an interactive workshop on Games in the classroom. Participate in Immersive Role Playing Games that you can take back to the classroom. The games focus on using the 4Cs to explore language arts and history topics where students collaboratively control the storytelling and exploration of a topic. Leave with the materials to run all the games in the classroom.

Learning Outcome #1
Take home 3 games they can bring to the classroom and play the next day to help engage and immerse students into literature and history

Learning Outcome #2
Learn methods to help students want to play immersive engaging education games and help create classroom enthusiasm for this type of activity

Standards
CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.8.3 Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, relevant descriptive details, and well-structured event sequences. CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.SL.7.1 Engage effectively in a range of collaborative discussions (one-on-one, in groups, and teacher-led) with diverse partners on building on others' ideas and expressing their own clearly.
