Description
Wondering about the Google Certified Trainer and/or Innovator program? I’ll share tips and tricks of the application process as well as what to expect once accepted. Is the process worth it? ABSOLUTELY! These two programs have significantly enhanced my career and I highly encourage everyone to apply!!

Learning Outcome #1
At the end of my session, participants will understand the importance, value, and benefits of Google Certified Trainer Program. They will feel confident and inspired to apply for this program and take a leadership role in education technology. They will understand the application process and know how to access study materials. Participants will also leave knowing that if they have questions, they are welcome to contact me at anytime for help and support when preparing to apply for this program.

They will feel confident and inspired to apply for this program and take a leadership role in education technology. They will understand the application process (including current deadlines) and how to present their Innovator idea. Participants will also leave knowing that if they have questions or would like a “sounding board”, they are welcome to contact me at anytime for help and support when preparing to apply for this program

ISTE Standards for Teachers 2a: Shape, advance and accelerate a shared vision for empowered learning with technology by engaging with education stakeholders. Lead by mentoring or collaborating with colleagues to improve practice using technology. Connect with stakeholders, engage with PLNs and thought leaders, and express opinions on education technology policy.
