Description
Get your ELLs speaking and writing more through these highly engaging, low-prep, easy-to-implement strategies that support academic language development. Using Google Cultural Institute, StreetView, and YouTube, these lessons allow students to practice high-level cognitive skills while considering the world from different perspectives.

Learning Outcome #1
Participants will learn strategies and lesson designs that create an environment that promotes cultural and linguistically relevant learning and teaching.

Learning Outcome #2
Participants will explore and be able to plan for a variety of English Language Development lesson designs that build upon students’ assets while strengthening their speaking and writing skills

Standards
ISTE-E.5a -- Use technology to create, adapt and personalize learning experiences that foster independent learning and accommodate learner differences and needs.
