Drop by and see how we use VR in the classroom using Google Expeditions to get outside the four walls of the learning space and help students relate and connect more deeply and completely to the curriculum they are learning by using virtual reality as part of our STEAM program.

Learning Outcome #1
Participants will learn the basics of using VR with students including required equipment, searching Google Expeditions for content, and classroom strategies for implementation.

Learning Outcome #2
Participants will understand the difference between “leading” and “following” an Expedition as well as using background information and differentiated questions provided within the application.

Empowered Learner: Students leverage technology to take an active role in choosing, achieving and demonstrating competency in their learning goals, informed by the learning sciences (ISTE Student Standard)
