Even a great lesson can fall short of being the RIGHT lesson for EVERY kid. In this dynamic session, we will design a lesson live, using UDL principles blended with the magic of EduProtocols to reach every learner in your class. Join us to see how this design mashup works!

Learning Outcome #1
Understanding how to integrate UDL into lesson design is the explicit focus of this session. Participants will be able to use UDL strategies when designing lessons for students including using the UDL 'brain' page as a guide when designing learning for students and end of lesson reflection for students on how they learned best.

Learning Outcome #2
Participants will be able to use UDL strategies to remove learning barriers for individual students. Participants will be able to identify student learning barriers and will have learned tips for removing them such as identify the need, and correlate that to the learning process that the learner will engage in. They will also understand how to design a lesson for specific learners. Lastly, they will have learned the value of making those options available for all students to choose from.

1. Students leverage technology to take an active role in choosing, achieving and demonstrating competency in their learning goals, informed by the learning sciences.
