It’s time to bring student academic journals into the 21st Century. Explore Google online supports and Chromebook-friendly templates that will digitize and revolutionize your student’s subject-specific journals in writing and other core subjects.

Learning Outcome #1
At the end of my session participates will be better able to use student digital journals to support core instruction in the areas of math, language arts, history and science using differentiated and Universally-Designed methods to encourage all learners in the classroom.

Learning Outcome #2
At the end of my session, participants will be supplied with and acquainted with a variety of classroom-ready digital student journal templates supported by Google. Further, they will have explored how they are created and navigated.

Writing (CCSS W.7) Research to Build and Present Knowledge 7. Conduct short research projects that build knowledge through investigation of different aspects of a topic. Corresponding College and Career Readiness (CCR) Anchor Standard 7. Conduct short as well as more sustained research projects based on focused questions, demonstrating understanding of the subject under investigation.
