Description
Let’s take the modeling beyond paper and pencil and MAKE something! We can combine making and science to get our students to really experience and explore science concepts.

Learning Outcome #1
Participants will leave the session with ideas for how they can incorporate making into their science instruction and also address the NGSS.

Learning Outcome #2
Participants will leave the session with a understanding of how making can be used to create models of NGSS concepts.

Standards
NGSS: MS-ETS 1-4- Develop a model to generate data for iterative testing and modification of a proposed object, tool, or process such that an optimal design can be achieved.
