Description
When you mention math, do students run for the hills? Come learn how to thoughtfully integrate technology with a Growth Mindset to help lower math anxiety, drive student engagement, deepen understanding and empower young mathematicians!

Learning Outcome #1
Participants will leave empowered to take charge of math instruction in their classroom. We will obliterate the long-held notions that some people aren't 'math people', and instead drive teachers to embrace the Growth Mindset in math in order to make the subject accessible more and enjoyable for all students.

Learning Outcome #2
Participants will walk away with a full toolbox, ready to transform their classroom the very next day. New teaching tools such as 3-Act Math Tasks, Clothesline Math, Number Talks, Estimation180 and SolveMe Mobiles will drive teachers to be invigorated and excited for math instruction!

Standards
ISTE Standards for Students 5. Computational Thinker Students develop and employ strategies for understanding and solving problems in ways that leverage the power of technological methods to develop and test solutions.
