Description
Have you been searching for ways to incorporate innovation, making & design thinking into your students’ daily learning, but are struggling to find a way to get started? In this hands-on session, presenters will share resources that will help you easily create your own engaging, standard-based design-thinking lessons for a middle school ELA, History or Art class.


Learning Outcome #1
At the end of the session, participants will be able to implement new strategies to intentionally integrate design thinking & grade level standards in order to engage students in their learning.


Learning Outcome #2
At the end of the session, participants will be able to leave with ideas and lessons on building empathy and incorporating real-world problems while hitting grade level standards and curriculum.
