Write and highlight the word, write the definition, give an example… YAWN! Vocabulary is critical to learning, yet it is often done in drill and kill fashion. This session will demonstrate how to effectively use technology to teach vocabulary in research driven, interactive, and dare I say, fun ways!

Learning Outcome #1
At the end of my session participants will be able to design a variety of vocabulary activities for students integrating technology.

Learning Outcome #2
At the end of my session participants will experience vocabulary building activities that promote student interaction, collaboration and learning.
