In general and special education classrooms, teachers will have students with various needs, including English Language Learners and students with disabilities. In this session, participants will be introduced and have time to explore tech-based tools that will support and bridge gaps in reading and writing for these students.

Learning Outcome #1
At the end of this session, participants will have an understanding of the diverse needs of students in elementary classrooms (eg. ELLs, students with disabilities).

Learning Outcome #2
At the end of this session, participants will be able to utilize one of the aforementioned tools to better meet the needs of their diverse learners in the classroom.

ISTE Standards for Educators - 5a Use technology to create, adapt and personalize learning experiences that foster independent learning and accommodate learner differences and needs.
