The new California Computer Science Standards have arrived! The standards address seven core practices and are aligned to equity, problem-solving, and the 4 Cs. Come join us and break the California Code through exploration, application, and creation!

Learning Outcome #1
To gain an introductory understanding of California’s Computer Science Standards, in particular, a few standards associated with coding.

Learning Outcome #2
To gain exposure to the seven core practices aligned to equity, problem-solving, and the 4 C’s.

CA CSS Standards: K-2.NI.6: Create patterns to communicate a message. 3-5.NI.6: Create patterns to protect information from unauthorized access 6-8.AP.16: Incorporate existing code, media, and libraries into original programs, and give attribution.
