DescriptionStep away from the day to day routine and go beyond the language arts curriculum. During this session, educators will explore the online resources and get some examples on how to use online tools to make teaching and learning language arts engaging and innovative while meeting the needs of diverse learners.
Learning Outcome #1At the end of this session, participants will be able to see that Language Arts curriculum is set as a framework to guide teachers to address the state standards and assist in meeting the needs of their students; however, there is a plethora of additional online resources to engage students and address their language and individual needs. Teachers will explore different ways to address a unit's essential/driving questions, engage students in showcasing their reading comprehension strategies and skills, and assess their learning in multiple ways, all with the assistance of edtech tools.
Learning Outcome #2At the end of my session, participants will be able to supplement their Language Arts curriculum with GSuite for Education tools such as: Google Slides, Docs, Drawings and Forms.
