Learning Outcome #1 At the end of the session participants will be able to understand and explain Tech Trek, Tech Savvy and AAUW STEMpacks to fellow staff, students and parents.
Learning Outcome #2 At the end of the session participants will be able to locate Tech Trek and Tech Savvy programs in their district or school locations and make the contacts needed to involve girls in these programs.
Standards Tech Trek and Tech Savvy programs address a number of the ISTE Standards for participating girls. One standard addressed throughout these programs is: 3. Knowledge Constructor Students critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge, produce creative artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others.
