Description
In this interactive session you will learn how to layer the most motivational techniques of gameplay over your curriculum to increase student collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity. Come away with practical strategies that you can use in any class or grade level to make learning come alive! You will leave ready to turn your classroom into a gamified adventure!

Learning Outcome #1
At the end of my session, participants will be able to explain what gamification is and how it applies to the educational setting. They will leave with a clear understanding of the concept and be able to adapt it to their classroom or educational environment.

Learning Outcome #2
At the end of my session, participants will be able to layer story and game mechanics over content to create an immersive learning environment. I will demonstrate how I have layered story and game mechanics over my course content and empower participants to create a gamified experience in their educational setting.
