We all realize we are currently preparing students for jobs that don’t exist, to use technologies that have not yet been invented, and to solve problems we don’t yet know are problems. There are critical steps school districts need to take now to prepare students for their future education and career experiences. Specific skillsets are in demand, but in order to ensure our students are college-successful and globally competitive, the change must begin at the elementary level.
